It’s Valentine’s ladies, so pucker up with some of TBI’s favourite lip treatments.

Soap and Glory Smooth Operator Lip Butter Balm.

The name here alone sold this to me. I’m not a huge Soap and Glory fan, mainly because you feel you are paying for the vintage packaging rather than the contents. I’m also a die-hard vaseline girl when it comes to repairing cracked  winter lips so it does take some convincing for me to part with my hard-earned cash. However, the balm worked wonders for my dry lips. The balm’s mango butter, vitamin E, argan and rosehip oils create a gorgeously soft lip butter and my lips literally soaked up its goodness. After a couple of liberal applications my pout is back to its kissable glory.

Nuxe Reve de Miel

I love a bit of Nuxe. Those canny French women have it sussed when it comes to skincare. Anytime I’m in France, I always stock up down the local pharmacy where all my favourite products are literally half the price they are here. Nuxe’s Reve de Miel lip balm is a little pot of luxury. Enriched with honey, shea butter and grapefruit essence, it’s a party for your pout. Lips feel decidedly kissable after a few applications. Result.

Clarins Extra-Firming Lip and Contour Balm

One word. Lush. I really don’t need to add anything else here but I will. This heavenly balm from Clarins gives lips a nice, glossy finish whilst nourishing with raspberry seed oil and Vitamin E. The promise is fuller, smoother lips thanks to its peptides and ‘Palmitric acid’ (no, me neither), but I do think my lips were plumper after use.
