I had a craving this week for some orange nail polish. Maybe it was the glorious Dublin sunshine but I needed a zingy citrus shade to adorn my talons.
Looking for a quick fix, I popped into the pharmacy next door to my office and picked up a pot of New York Color for – wait for it – €1.59! A total bargain for a gorgeous pop of colour.
NYC polish promises ‘a manicure that moves at the speed of Manhattan’. And it certainly delivered on its speedy promise. The polish quick-dried in under a minute and was surprisingly chip-free by the end of a very busy day (toddler/work/chores).
I loved the polish’s glossy shine and generous consistency. And for less than €2 a pot, I can change my nail colour on a whim with this cheap and cheerful pharmacy find.
