La Roche-Posay Ultra-Fine Cleansing Scrub

by ,

I think I have a problem. A La Roche-Posay problem. If La Roche are selling it, I’m slathering it all over my face.

My latest purchase to add to the heaving bathroom cabinet shelves is the Physiological Ultra-Fine Cleansing Scrub. Suitable for sensitive types (moi), it promises gentle cleansing and is paraben and alcohol-free.

I’m not normally a fan of facial scrubs, preferring instead to use my Clarisonic for deep cleansing. In fact I think I have a tube of St Ives Apricot Scrub circa 1993 still knocking around the bathroom.

As I have an oily T-zone, I don’t like to overwork my skin with scrubs but La Roche is gel-based and has an incredibly fine grain so doesn’t scratch. It smells great – like bubblegum – and left my skin baby soft and breakout-free.

I usually use this once a week, when I have a little more time to spend on my skincare routine, but the scrub is gentle enough to use on a daily basis. I liked this a lot – La Roche really can do no wrong in my eyes!
