TBI’s April Top Five

by ,

Another month, another top five product picks here at TBI Towers. April flashed by in a chocolate-induced blur – we’re still undoing the diet damage from the choccy orgy that was Easter mid-month! Speaking of Easter and all things egg-shaped, TBI’s first product pick this month is the kooky Tonymoly egg pore gel.

1. Tonymoly EggPore Blackhead Out Oil Gel
Part the Egg Pore series, I had the blackhead treatment gel shipped all the way from South Korea – and boy was it worth the wait. Containing egg whites and Camellia flower extract, this gel promises to reduce the appearance of blackheads, and after using it 2-3 times a week for a month, my pores were visibly reduced. Apart from its whimsical egg-shaped packaging that is prone to spillage, I really liked this product.

2. Clinique High Impact Mascara
This mascara from Clinique replaced all my mascaras this month. The brush is wide and generous, covering each lash from root to tip – after every application, I look like I’m wearing great falsies. The mascara goes on smoothly, without clumping and flaking, and still looked great 12 hours later. A long-term addition to my make-up bag.

3. New York Color Nails
If you’re looking for a quick fix, New York Color nail polishes offer beautiful pops of colour for a bargain €1.59! I loved this bright orange shade Spring Street. Dry in under a minute, the polish was glossy and chip-free for days.

4. Clinique Pore Refining Solution
Clinique makes it into the top five again this month. Always on the hunt for the latest pore-reducing product, I picked up this little primer to target my stubborn T-zone. Applied before my foundation, it immediately absorbs shine and gives the appearance of pore-less skin. For oily/combinations skins such as mine, it gave me a lovely matte finish for hours.

5. The Extra Virgin Kitchen cookbook
I’m a firm believer in eating your way to a beautiful complexion, hence why I love Susan Jane White’s healthy approach to food. Based on wholesome, vegetarian foods, The Extra Virgin Kitchen from the former Irish model is a feast for the eyes and beauty addict. This month, I couldn’t get enough of the oaty flapjacks – super delicious and super healthy, they’ve helped keep me away from the office vending machine! The Extra Virgin Kitchen is a beautiful addition to my cookbook habit.
