Three Things: Budget blushes

by ,

Blush. My one true friend. As the ultimate pale girl, blush is a beauty necessity. Without it, I’d imagine my colleagues, friends and family would be calling for medical back-up STAT.

I literally have oodles of the stuff and carry a few compacts with me at all times, in case of a blush-related crisis (there are many). So today, I thought I’d show you three of my current high street favourites.

Revlon Powder Blush in Haute Pink
This is one of my ultimate budget blushes. They are highly pigmented, have great colour payoff, are long-lasting and are packaged in a smart, functional compact with mirror. What else can a girl say about a blusher? I’ve repurchased this countless times.

Catrice Multi-Colour Blush
This pretty Catrice blush is a new one for me. Softer in colour than my usual in-your-face fuschias, it gives cheeks a subtle, flushed glow with buildable colour. It’s not the longest lasting blush but as I suffer from OCBD (Obsessive Compulsive Blush Disorder) I have no problem re-applying every few hours. I also love the clear cube packaging – it’s satisfyingly chunky (ooh er). Me lovey.

Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink
Finally, I’m a big fan of Sleek as they produce great looking, quality products for well under a tenner. I’ve spoken about this blush here before. Although the shade Pixie Pink looks bright, it actually gives skin a nice, sheer wash of colour. Again, it’s not the longest lasting blush but it’s none-the-less a great little bargain.

What are you favourite budget blushes?
