Charlotte Olympia for MAC

by ,

She’s rocked the shoe world with her stunning heels, now designer Charlotte Olympia has turned her creative eye to MAC make-up. Paying homage to old Hollywood, Charlotte has created a stunning range of lipsticks, bases and eye liners that evoke the era of silver screen pin-ups endorned with her signature gold web.

I’ve been beyond excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to get my hands on the limited edition accessories when they go on sale later this month (March 24th). Here’s what I’ve been LOVING from this collection so far.

Charlotte Olympia MAC Cream Colour Base in Golden Age €23
I love this creamy base in a flattering metallic bronze colour. It can be applied directly to bare skin or blended with foundation along cheekbones for a soft, highlighting effect. I personally love this on the eyelids for a super easy eyeshadow. Gorge.

Charlotte Olympia MAC Liquid Eye Liner in Nearly Natural €23
As you can see from the gallery, this little gold embossed liner is beautiful. The product itself is deep brown, long-wearing, and smudge-resistant. I’m a real dunce when it comes to applying liner so I usually just tentatively dot this between the lashes for a fuller look. I will, however, master a winged liner in 2016. #StayTuned

Charlotte Olympia MAC Lipstick in Starlett Scarlet €21.50
When I saw Charlotte’s take on the classic red, I almost wept with joy. I mean behold its classic lines! Its gold detailing! Its true red colour! The shade Starlett Scarlet is a stunning matte and as you would expect from MAC is highly pigmented and long lasting. A classic beauty.

Other collection highlights include lipmixes (customisable lip creams), lip pencils, eyeshadow pigment, ‘zoom’ mascara, eyelash curlers, blotting papers, nail polishes, eye brushes, a mirrored compact and a make-up bag. Want, want, want it all!

Available for a limited time online and from BrownThomas.com, from March 24th.
