The YSL luxury foundation

by ,

Sleep has eluded me of late. Thanks to a combination of work deadlines (relentless) and an enthusiastic four-year-old (er, enthusiastic), I’ve been in bed way too late and up way too early.

So with a face that wouldn’t launch a thousand ships, I’ve turned to YSL Touche Eclat Foundation to make me gorge again. I’ve been using this foundation for three or four weeks now and the verdict is in: it’s frickin’ awesome.

YSL has also released its High Coverage Foundation Brush (with a mini reservoir in the centre in the shape of a ‘Y’). Great for stippling on foundation, this is probably more suited to the professional of hand (not me, so).

The foundation itself is described as eight hours of beauty sleep in a bottle and I can confirm this indeed is true. A colleague actually complimented me on my dewy complexion last week despite my weeks of broken sleep. She actually used the words “dewy” and “complexion”. After laughing bitterly, I greedily accepted the compliment but in actual fact, it’s all down to this lovely foundation.

The secret, I believe, is in its light-reflecting particles and weightless formula which gives skin that coveted ‘lit from within’ radiance. Well done YSL! I’m finally gawgeous again.

Have you tried the YSL Touche Eclat Foundation?
