Clarins Sunkissed Summer 2016

by ,

I was giddy putting this post together – the new Clarins Sunkissed collection screams summer and boy am I ready for summer!

I love everything about this range from the chic packaging to the natural colours and of course, the quality products themselves. As a naturally pale girl, this range gives skin a subtle, non-scary sunkissed glow. So let’s get bronzing…

Clarins Bronzing & Blush Compact
Clarins has revamped its popular bronzing compact to include an apricot blush shade, an iridescent gold and two matte bronze shades. I lightly brushed this over the temples and down the bridge of my nose for a subtle glow. It’s a stunning compact and will be a staple in my summer make-up.

Lip Comfort Oil in shades 01, 02, 03
Clarins has added a new shade to its popular Lip Comfort Oil range – Red Berry 03. The lip oils are intensely moisturising and give lips a luscious sheen. Delish.

Clarins Fix Make Up Spray
I’ve never using a fixing spray before so this was a bit of a revelation to me. The ultra fine mist smells heavenly and is refreshing to tired skin – I can see why this would be a summer favourite. Formulated with aloe vera and white tea extract, it not only helps set your make-up, it’s good for skin too. I’m sold.

Clarins Waterproof Eyeshadow in shade 04 Copper Brown
The eyeshadow is my standout product from the collection. Available in four flattering shades (Gold Peach, Golden Sand, Silver Taupe and Copper Brown), the waterproof shadow can be applied with fingertips – although I used a synthetic eyebrush in the gallery above. This for me is a beach holiday must.

Clarins Double Fix Mascara

Finally, the transparent mascara can be used to make any of your favourite mascaras waterproof or to set unruly brows. I’ve yet to put the waterproof claims to the test but if it does what it says on the tin, then it’s a genius product!
