I’ve been in an eyeshadow rut lately. Despite an obscene amount of palettes in my collection, I’m fixated with finishing my beloved Ellie Goulding for MAC palette.
Clarins 4-Colour Eye Palette in 02 Rosewood and 03 Brown (€43)
It was definitely love at first sweep for me with the new Clarins eyeshadow palettes. In the gallery above I’m wearing my favourite mauves and plums from 02 Rosewood. With a selection of mattes, satins and pearlescent shadows in each palette, they can be applied wet or dry.
Highly concentrated in mineral pigments, the eyeshadows give intense colour payoff that wear beautifully all day. In fact, my shadow looked its best after eight hours of continuous wear when it had slightly melted into place for an intense, smokey look. But that’s just my personal preferance.
Clarins Mascara Supra Volume in Black (€26)
Clarins mascaras are always quality so this was a no-brainer. Stylish packaged in Clarins signature gold, the Supra Volume gives plump, fluttery lashes without clumping or flaking.
Featuring ultra-supple fibres to closely coat lashes, the mascara’s carbon black formulation gives intense colour payoff. I loved how thick my lashes looked after this – and not a false lash in sight. Brilliant.
Other collection highlights include the Joli Rouge Lipsticks in Spicy Cinnamon, Rosy Nude, Soft Berry (€23); the Everlasting Foundation (€35); and the Blush Prodige in Tawny Pink (€34). Available at Clarins counters nationwide from July, 24 2016.
