I’m a shiny girl. Not in a dewy-skin-isn’t-she-radiant kinda shiny but oily-with-foundation-sliding-off-my-face kinda shiny.
So when the new Clarins Skin Illusion powder landed on my desk recently, I (and my T-zone) were deliriously excited to give it a go.
As you can see from the gallery, its packaging is super luxurious and the pot’s innovative design even incorporates an ultra-soft brush that attaches magnetically to the lid (complete with satisfying ‘click’).
Here’s what Clarins promise:
- Finely milled, loose powder available in eight shades
- Pink opal powder diffracts the light to visibly smooth skin
- Pigments coated with a plant-based amino acid to ensure hold
- Pink algae plant extracts to tone skin
And does it deliver? Of course it bloody delivers, it’s Clarins! Next question!
The new Clarins Skin Illusion is available from August 29th, priced €38.
Will you be powdering your nose with a little Clarins? What’s your favourite powder? Are you as shiny as me? I doubt it…
