First Thoughts: March Glossybox

I’m a bit late to the party with the March Glossybox (I blame Paddy’s Day!) but I’ve finally showed up, a little worse for wear.
If you too drowned the shamrock this St Patrick’s weekend, then perhaps you’re in need of a little skin prep. Well you’re in luck as March’s Glossybox is all about hydration and preparation. Let’s dive in and see what’s on offer this month.
Schwarzkopf BlondeMe Keratin Restore Shampoo, €14.99 (full size)
First up this month is a shampoo for blondes (boo-hiss!) but on closer inspection of the label, it turns out anyone can use it. The keratin helps repair damaged hair and happily it’s sulphate-free. I should also add it smells amazing, like old-school candy. All in all, a good start.
ThisWorks In Transit Camera Close-up Primer, €34.99 (for the full size)
I can forgive ThisWorks the daft name for this primer as it’s actually a good one. Essentially it’s a pimped-up moisturiser but it absorbs really well. I’d have liked this one in full size, however. FYI Glossybox.
oOlution Eye Love, €34.99 (full size)
Another brand with a daft name, I have never heard of oOlution before. The eye contour is 100 per cent natural (so sadly no scent), is lightweight and quickly absorbed. A handy little eye cream, even if the name is impossible to type or remember.
Crabtree & Evelyn Somerset Meadow Hand Therapy (full size)
I seem to be acquiring quite the collection of Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams. Always handy at the bottom of your handbag, this one has a fresh scent and does moisturise hands, as advertised.
Sleek Eye & Cheek Palette, €11.99
Finally my favourite addition to the March box is this handy eye and cheek palette. I’m a fan of Sleek anyway, so this was a nice surprise. These palettes are a brilliant idea for travelling. The eyeshadows and cheek colours are neutral, flattering and have a decent pigment. The best of the bunch.
