We all want that “lit from within” glow. How do we achieve it? By applying a little less make-up and opting for lightweight formulations that allow your real skin to show through.
Perhaps it’s age or perhaps it’s make-up maturity but I’ve been wholeheartedly embracing the “less is more” approach to make-up these days.
This season, Shiseido has applied this approach to its new Synchro Skin Glow range. The lightweight products promise luminous, radiant skin – now who doesn’t want that? Here’s my thoughts on the range.
Shiseido Synchro Skin Glow, €48
The Skin Glow foundation is a beautiful, light to medium foundation. The hydrating formula promises to adapt to every skin tone (I can only vouch for mine) but it applies like a dream. Full coverage fans should look elsewhere. Available in 10 shades, with SPF 20.
Shiseido 7 Lights Powder Illuminator, €42
If there was a prize for the prettiest finishing powder, this colourful beauty would win it hands down. Shiseido promises a sweep of the seven colours will add radiance to skin. While I’m unsure how exactly that works, it certainly is a lovely, lightweight addition to my make-up arsenal. I particularly love the handy hidden compartment for the powder brush – perfect for application on the go.
Overall, these are two beautiful products for spring 2017. Kudos to Shiseido.
