Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder collection is back

by ,

Her first make-up range for Estee Lauder was a sell-out. Now Victoria is back with her second limited edition Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder collection – and I couldn’t be more excited.

The returning bestsellers from the first collection include the Eye Metals Eyeshadow in Bitter Clove, the Morning Aura Illuminating Crème, and the Highlighter in Modern Mercury. Two new products form part of the new collection, including a new bronzer Saffron Sun and a matte nude lipstick called Nude Spice to replace the Brazilian Nude.

Victoria told Vogue: “Creating the first collection with Estee Lauder was the culmination of a long-held dream for me, so when we received such an overwhelmingly positive response from customers and retailers it made sense for us to revisit and develop the collaboration. We wanted to review it and look at what worked well – what do we need to fine-tune, where could we extend the range?”

The new limited edition range is out now. Here’s a little reminder of some the highlights from Victoria’s last collection.

Victoria Beckham Eye Metal in Bitter Clover, €44
The single, dark brown shadow can be worn alone or as a shimmer finish. Apart from the stunning black and gold compact, I’m afraid to say I’m not a fan of this shadow. There is just too much fallout and not enough pigment for me. Sad face.

Victoria Beckham Lipstick in Brazilian Nude, €48
This is a lovely nude cream lipstick – very easy to wear and would suit everyone I’d imagine. The new matte Nude Spice has replaced this in the current collection, which is a shame as I liked it a lot.

The bullet itself is quite small, however, and doesn’t feel as expensive as it should. Would it put me off purchasing her new collection? Not really! I love Victoria and I hope there will be many more Estee Lauder collaborations to come.

Have you tried any of the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder ranges?
