A little introduction to Human & Kind organic skincare

by ,

Is it just me or has there been a distinct mood change of late? I can’t quite put my finger on it but it’s the need for more authenticity – from people, from brands, from our products.

Perhaps it’s the anti-Trump effect, but have you found yourself looking for the truth? As part of my quest for the real, I’ve been taking a much closer look at the products I use and asking myself is this really good for me? Or is it clever marketing disguised as wholesome?

So it was refreshing to meet with the people behind Human & Kind – a Cork-based Irish organic range – who have branded themselves as “skincare with a conscience”.

Apart from its chemical and paraben-free products, Human & Kind also support causes close to their heart, such as donating 50 percent of the hand cream profits to Trocaire or sponsoring the Ireland’s Women’s National Team. Now that’s the kind of authenticity I can get behind.

Meanwhile, here’s a quick rundown of some of the products I’m testing at the moment. It’s still early days but so far so good.
