Charlotte Tilbury, it’s been a while…

Charlotte Tilbury, it’s been a while… so for that I must apologise. It’s still one of my all-time favourite brands and I still reach for the Instant Look In A Palette every day. But even I can get a bit distracted by shiny, new brands.

However, I’ve fallen back in love with Charlotte of late, namely because of her beautiful new Brightening Youth Glow. Here’s the skinny on it…

Charlotte Tilbury Brightening Youth Glow (€49)
I’m a big fan of CT’s Wonder Glow so was curious to see how this primer would live up to its predecessor. The Youth Glow is formulated with silver pearl reflector pigments so with or without make-up my skin looks noticeably better. I found this also sits well under make-up and doesn’t pill.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream (€90, full size)
Although this is not a new launch, this is my first pot of Magic Cream. Despite the rave reviews and hype, I’ve managed to skip on this previously as I simply don’t have €90 to spend on a moisturiser.

Formulated to boost collagen with something fancy called a BioNymph Peptide Complex (!), I’ll admit it’s good, my skin feels great and it smells wonderful. If you have 90 quid, then by all means buy it. I’ll probably just finish out this wee tub, however, and dream of swimming in vats of the stuff.
